NashvilleGeneral Hospital is hiring for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN), ER in Nashville, Tennessee. We are offering up to a $10,000 sign on bonus.

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Unit (ED) who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.

As an ER RN you will be responsible for:

  • Admitting and assessing patients
  • Administering medication and treatments
  • Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
  • Running and ordering tests
  • Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
  • Charting Patient Progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Paying attention to detail and staying organized when managing patient care and record keeping
  • Compassionately communicating with patients and family members.
  • Understanding applicable state regulations and following compliance practices
  • Assessing patient condition and noting it accurately according to the facility's charting practices
  • Graduate of an accreditedassociate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
  • Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
  • Employee must have valid BLS when hired. ACLS, TNCC, PALS and CPI are required within 90 days of hire. ENPC preferred.
  • One year of experience ispreferred.
