Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neuroscience IMC / PCU Stroke Team! This is a full-time day shift opportunity.

RNs on this unit provide care to patients with neurologic conditions that may include seizures, strokes, craniotomies, neuromuscular emergencies, etc. We provide training for those who may be new to neuro and want to expand their skills in this area, and RNs with experience in multiple units are encouraged to apply.

As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for:

  • Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses

  • Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement

  • Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care

  • Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital

  • Serve as patient advocate

  • Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

ExperienceRequirements:

  • 1-2 years Clinical Nursing Experience

  • Hospital Experience

Education &CredentialRequirements:

  • Associate of Science in Nursing Required

  • Bachelor of Science in NursingPreferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (American Heart Association)

  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
