Registered Nurse Administrative Director - Women & Children's Services

RN ADM DIR - WOMEN/KIDS

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Administrative Director candidates for the Women and Children's Services Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing all functions of the department(s) in order to support the stated mission, vision and values of the facility and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing and promote, advocate and support the nursing staffs primary commitment to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family or community.
  • You will effectively operate the department, continue the improvement of the departments processes and outcomes, comply with hospital and corporate policy and procedures, efficiently manage finances and resources, promote teamwork and customer satisfaction, and integrate the department services into the organizations overall plan for delivery of care and service.
  • You will have responsibilities for service line growth as well as programmatic duties to support service line quality and growth initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse Administrative Director - Women & Children's Services

RN ADM DIR - WOMEN/KIDS

Full-Time

Registered Nurse Administrative Director candidates for the Women and Children's Services Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Education:

  • BSN required.
  • Masters degree in nursing or related field or other appropriate post Graduate Degree required.

Licensure/certification/registration:

  • Texas State RN License or compact license is accepted.
  • National Specialty Certification required, AHA BLS required.

Experience:

  • 10 years of recent nursing experience in Womens Services, Labor and Delivery, PICU, NICU, PEDS, etc and 5 years of leadership experience
