Join Our Team as a Rheumatologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Rheumatologist to become part of our Internal Medicine Department. Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in academic medicine with a focus on teaching and research.
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient services at various locations, including the Loma Linda University Medical Center and Riverside University Health System Medical Center.
  • Participate in a busy consultation service and share inpatient responsibilities with fellow physicians.
  • Collaborate with a nurse practitioner and benefit from excellent support staff for prior authorization and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A commitment to academic medicine and a passion for teaching.
  • Willingness to provide care across multiple facilities.
  • Interest in participating in clinical trials and research initiatives.
Working Conditions

The Division of Rheumatology currently consists of 5.5 faculty members, with plans to expand to 9 full-time positions. We prioritize faculty development and physician wellness, offering various programs such as:

  • Outdoor activities and wellness classes

Our fellowship program accommodates three fellows annually, and faculty members engage with residents and students on a weekly basis. The division hosts seven specialized centers, providing ample opportunities for research and patient care.

We offer a competitive compensation range of $300,000 to $330,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure represents the base salary and does not include additional variable compensation. More details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
