Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Location: Calgary Zone

Salary range: $68,116 - $75,684/yr

The Calgary West Central Primary Care Network (CWC PCN) is a non-profit organization committed to a healthier future. As a Primary Care Network, we work alongside hundreds of family doctors (our members) to support the patient-doctor relationship and provide programs and services at no cost to doctor or patient.

As the PMH Project Coordinator, you’ll provide support for the implementation and ongoing development of the Patient’s Medical Home (PMH) team’s strategic and operational projects. You’ll also provide support across the PMH team as required.

This role is primarily a work-from-home position with occasional in-person responsibilities; therefore, the successful candidate must be located within the Calgary Zone or the surrounding area (e.g., Cochrane, Canmore, Airdrie, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Assist with literature reviews for projects.
  • Provide timely reports on literature and best practice reviews related to strategic projects/programs.
  • Coordinate the dissemination of surveys and questionnaires with physicians and/or staff.
  • Gather and analyze feedback through online surveys, in-person interviews, and focus groups.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Monitor data quality and implementation processes to increase accuracy of information used for reporting.
  • Adhere to privacy requirements and practice ethical data management.
  • Support reporting of evaluation projects.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting as required.
  • Work with project leads to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Research and develop project plans through information gathering, research, and needs analysis.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to PMH projects, including managing the department email, orientation, and onboarding of PMH staff.
  • Provide committee support by performing meeting coordination, including meeting minutes, agendas, and invitations.

Requirements

Education: A bachelor’s degree with formal training in evaluation design, research methods, and data analysis in the area of health science, social science, or other related fields is required.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of applied experience in population health research and/or evaluation, preferably in a primary care environment, is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience coordinating projects in a healthcare environment is required.

Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.

Certification: Completion (or in the process of completing) the ARECCI level one reviewer certificate is required (may be completed during first year of employment — as available through Health Innovates).

Technical: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Access); collaboration software (Monday.com); survey software (e.g. Survey Monkey).

Background check: A clear Criminal Background check is required to start.
