Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic Mental Health Team as part of our Special Education Program. This full-time remote position allows you to work collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive telehealth environment, providing vital mental health services to students with unique needs. You will play a crucial role in shaping positive outcomes for individuals facing challenges related to autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and trauma.

This position allows for remote work, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with students and families. You will engage in meaningful interactions while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Your work schedule generally follows a Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM framework, with occasional evening shifts and weekend rotations required to meet the varying needs of our clients. Flexibility and on-call availability will be essential for responding timely to mental health emergencies.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the unique needs and circumstances of each student.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address mental health issues, promote emotional well-being, and advocate for successful integration within the school community.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and developing effective coping skills.
• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for each student's mental health journey.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, skillfully managing emergencies and offering immediate assistance.
• Deliver psychoeducation to students and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health conditions, effective strategies, and available resources.
• Maintain precise documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards to ensure accountability.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.
• Stay informed about relevant regulations, ethical guidelines, and best practices within the mental health field.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with diverse special needs, particularly in mental health contexts. You will work with individuals experiencing autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma, ensuring each student's unique background and needs are recognized and addressed in your intervention strategies.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
• Strong skills in conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing effective treatment plans.
• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy using a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with technology is preferred.
• A collaborative spirit and the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings is highly desired.

The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
