This role is remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining connection and collaboration with our multidisciplinary team. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand clients' needs, utilizing validated assessment tools and techniques.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster a sense of community and shared understanding among clients encountering similar challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a synchronized approach to patient care, ensuring no aspect of the client's health is overlooked.
• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, providing immediate assistance and connecting clients to appropriate resources.
• Educate clients on mental health issues, treatment pathways, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.
• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy, integrating new practices into treatment where appropriate.

In this role, you will be working with a diverse client base facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Our clients may be from different socioeconomic backgrounds and often experience unique life circumstances that affect their mental wellness. Your ability to connect empathetically and authentically with clients will be instrumental in their healing and progress.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• Strong expertise in mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans designed to drive positive outcomes.
• A background in delivering individual and group therapy to varied populations, showcasing adaptability and an inclusive approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Adherence to ethical standards, sound judgment, and professional boundaries.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and cultural competence.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development, including attendance at relevant workshops and conferences.
