As a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be engaging with clients through secure video conferencing platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Counseling clients through individual video sessions to address mental health concerns, enhance emotional well-being, and promote healthy coping strategies.
• Facilitating discussions that enable clients to explore their emotions, challenges, and experiences, thereby fostering self-discovery and improved relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, helping them identify specific personal and therapeutic goals, and guiding them in the pursuit of these objectives.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health status to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and your professional expertise.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records while adhering to ethical standards and best practices for telehealth counseling.

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele characterized by stable, low-acuity mental health concerns. All clients are prescreened prior to being assigned, ensuring that you will engage with individuals who are eager to work collaboratively on their mental health journeys. This targeted client focus allows you to apply your skills meaningfully, cultivating deeper connections and achieving better client outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An independent clinical license, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), issued by the state board. Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• The ability to assess client needs, make informed decisions, and provide insightful recommendations for treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and excellent communication abilities to foster effective therapeutic alliances.
• Competence in computer literacy and comfort using digital tools for virtual counseling.

While the required qualifications are essential, we highly value additional experience in:

• Working within telehealth frameworks, particularly in community settings.

This position offers competitive compensation between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
