• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health conditions, using standardized diagnostic tools to inform clinical impressions and treatment pathways.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address each client's unique situation.
• Provide crisis intervention services, equipping clients with strategies and resources during acute mental health emergencies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, encompassing treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and develop comprehensive support plans for clients.
• Actively educate clients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options, fostering awareness of available community resources and advocating for their needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay current on best practices in mental health therapy.

Your clients will range from adolescents facing academic and social pressures to adults dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and complex life challenges. You will also work with families seeking to improve their dynamics and communication. Each session will be tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients, helping them cultivate positive coping mechanisms and resilience.

• Valid and active license as a Mental Health Therapist, such as LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW.
• Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills is essential for formulating effective treatment plans.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is necessary.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.
