This position is fully remote, providing you the flexibility to work from home while connecting with clients in a meaningful and impactful way. Our outpatient office setting is designed to facilitate efficient and effective therapeutic interventions, ensuring that our counselors have the tools they need to succeed. While your primary tasks will be conducted remotely, occasional team meetings may be held to foster collaboration and professional development.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify each client's unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, during individual, couples, and family sessions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups, allowing clients to share experiences and strategies in a community setting.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to apply cutting-edge practices in your work.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma. Our patient population reflects the cultural diversity of the Pasadena area, allowing our counselors to engage with different backgrounds and experiences. Tailoring your therapeutic approach to respect and respond to each client's unique cultural context is essential in fostering trust and effective treatment.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and various therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments, integrating findings into actionable treatment plans.
• Prior experience facilitating individual and group therapy sessions with diverse populations is crucial.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong professional judgment with a firm adherence to ethical standards and boundaries.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with technology tools.
• A collaborative mindset, ready to engage as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with diverse client groups.
• Familiarity with local community resources to enhance patient care.
• Knowledge of integrated care models that promote collaboration between mental health and primary care services.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
