This role is designed for professionals passionate about providing effective mental health support and treatment in a remote capacity, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

About the Organization

Our private practice prides itself on a client-centered approach, fostering an environment where individuals can thrive and achieve their personal goals. We specialize in empowering clients by using evidence-based therapeutic practices that cater to their unique needs.

Work Environment

Our work environment is designed to promote confidentiality and comfort, with a strong emphasis on collaboration among our team of licensed therapists. As part of our remote workforce, counselors can interact and engage with colleagues through virtual platforms, ensuring a supportive community that shares a commitment to trauma-informed care. Our administrative team provides essential support for scheduling, billing, and insurance processes, allowing our clinical staff to focus on client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and formulate effective treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to promote personal growth and emotional well-being.
  • Establish measurable therapeutic goals and closely monitor client progress through regular reassessments.
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions, enhancing accessibility for clients facing physical or geographic barriers to in-person consultations.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to stay current with emerging therapeutic trends and techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including those grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various mental health disorders. Our client base includes children, adolescents, and adults, allowing for a rich and varied clinical experience. Counselors will employ their expertise to create inclusive and culturally sensitive treatment approaches, accommodating the individualized needs of each client.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid state license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Psychologist (PsyD).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on building trusting therapeutic relationships.
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion, utilizing a non-judgmental approach to client care.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize competing demands effectively.
Preferred Experience

While direct experience in private practice is valuable, we also welcome candidates who have backgrounds in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, or specialized therapeutic niches. Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus, as it enhances the efficiency and accessibility of client services.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. Beyond competitive compensation, we provide diverse benefits, including:

  • Continuing education reimbursement to support ongoing professional development.
  • Professional autonomy in therapeutic practice, allowing you to develop and implement your methodology.
  • An opportunity for collaboration amongst peers, fostering a culture of teamwork and mentorship.
  • Administrative support, including assistance with scheduling, billing, and insurance processing.
