The position is entirely remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules from the comfort of their homes. You will use secure telehealth platforms to establish a safe and supportive environment for clients. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand client needs, followed by developing personalized treatment plans delivered through telehealth sessions.
• Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing established evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Respond to crises by offering immediate emotional support and intervention strategies via virtual platforms.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and high standards of care.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize modern technology and secure telehealth systems to deliver therapeutic services effectively while keeping abreast of the latest telehealth innovations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and participate in team collaboration meetings for case reviews and skill enhancement.

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population that includes individuals of all ages experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. Your focus will be on providing empathetic support and tailored interventions that respect the dignity and individuality of each client. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, fostering resilience and overall well-being.

• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Oregon or eligibility for reciprocity.
• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, with experience in telehealth preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care principles and the application of therapeutic modalities such as CBT and solution-focused therapy.
• Demonstrated technological proficiency, with comfort in using virtual therapy platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills tailored to a remote therapeutic setting.

• Experience in a fully remote telehealth role, with proven strategies for engaging and maintaining client relationships through digital platforms.
• Interest in participating in community outreach programs or workshops that promote mental health awareness.
• Experience with group therapy facilitation.
