Silver Wing Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This position is designed for a remote work setting while maintaining an outpatient focus that allows your expertise to reach clients effectively. You will have the flexibility of managing your schedule while collaborating with colleagues through digital platforms. Our practice utilizes modern technology, including electronic health records (EHR), to streamline client documentation and enhance care delivery.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Design personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions with clients, providing support, guidance, and practical tools to help them navigate their challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in EHR systems, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, for comprehensive client care.
• Participate in professional development activities, including peer supervision, to enhance therapeutic skills and stay abreast of industry trends.
• Provide referrals to additional resources and support services as necessary to aid clients in their recovery journeys.

The patients you will be working with represent a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. You will engage with individuals confronting issues related to substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our practice values cultural competence, ensuring that all clients feel understood and respected, regardless of their personal circumstances.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) is required for practice in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of four years of experience in a clinical setting, working with a variety of mental health conditions.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with a diverse client population.
• Demonstrated capability in managing crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and related technological tools to optimize patient care.
• Commitment to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries in all client interactions.

• Experience working with underserved populations and sensitivity to cultural diversity within therapeutic practices.
• Proven track record in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive techniques.
• Knowledge and skills in providing teletherapy as an integral component of mental health care delivery.
