• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, creating tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
• Provide psychotherapy, support, and crisis intervention to clients experiencing a range of mental health disorders, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team, including other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain a caseload of clients and ensure timely and accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress.
• Offer consultation services to clients and other providers, ensuring adherence to Mental Health policies and practices established by the organization.
• Screen patients for substance abuse issues and refer those requiring more intensive treatment to appropriate services or facilities.
• Educate clients about mental health resources and strategies for managing their conditions, promoting overall wellness.

The Behavioral Lifebulb Counseling Center serves a broad spectrum of patients, inclusive of diverse cultural backgrounds and varying degrees of complex mental health conditions. As an LCSW, you will serve individuals grappling with mental health disorders, from anxiety and depression to more severe conditions requiring specialized intervention. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid LCSW license to practice in New York.
• Strong clinical skills, with demonstrated capabilities in crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral health evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a capacity to present information effectively to clients and administrative staff alike.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and telehealth platforms essential for remote service delivery.
• Ability to engage and work effectively within a culturally diverse team environment, fostering a sense of collaboration and shared purpose.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, including familiarity with community-based resources for mental health support.
• Experience in providing teletherapy and utilizing tools to engage clients in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of current trends and regulations in behavioral healthcare at local, state, and federal levels.
