Healing Hearts Counseling is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists, specifically LMFT, LPC, or LCSW certified, to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This is a full-time remote position allowing for a structured work-life balance while accessing the resources you need to succeed. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate patient needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to thoroughly understand patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique experiences and challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy in one-on-one and group settings.
• Facilitate supportive psychoeducational groups that create a sense of community and belonging among participants while addressing common mental health issues.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies when needed, ensuring timely and effective support for patients during mental health emergencies.
• Maintain a high standard of documentation through accurate and confidential record-keeping that adheres to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues during case consultations and participate actively in team meetings aimed at enhancing the quality of care.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health research and therapeutic practices to continually improve service delivery.

This role is focused on enhancing the lives of diverse clients, including individuals, couples, and families, particularly within the school setting. By addressing a variety of mental health challenges, you will play a vital role in empowering clients to achieve personal growth and improved mental health outcomes.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic treatment modalities.
• Proven capability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and construct effective treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to a wide variety of demographics and cultural backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and empathy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for building rapport with patients and collaborating with team members.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing patient record management and care coordination.

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on therapy related to adolescent and family issues.
• Experience in a school-based setting is an advantage to better understand the unique challenges faced by this population.
