Position Overview

Work Environment

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, ideal for professionals who thrive in a home office environment. Our hours are straightforward, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 6 pm, ensuring no evening or weekend commitments, allowing for a balanced work-life blend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans to coordinate behavioral health services for patients.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current trends in local, state, and federal behavioral health programs to inform practice.
  • Work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, engaging with various levels of staff, primary care providers, and health center patients for holistic patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to mental health policies and procedures within the behavioral health program, maintaining high standards of practice.
  • Evaluate and assess patients through timely and respectful intakes and provide necessary counseling and crisis intervention services.
  • Actively refer patients exhibiting serious mental health conditions in need of inpatient or specialty care to appropriate external institutions or agencies.
  • Screen patients for potential issues with prescription drugs, illicit substances, or alcohol, offering counseling or referring to community resources as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a social worker, you will play a critical role in understanding and addressing the unique experiences and cultural backgrounds of our clients, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential is required, supported by a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • You should possess mature judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
