• Conduct initial assessments and gather detailed client histories to inform individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health challenges.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and support, effectively managing clients in distress and ensuring their immediate safety and long-term well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care, addressing not just the psychological aspects but also the emotional and social influences affecting the client’s health.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines while continuously improving documentation practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on industry trends.
• Contribute to program development, suggesting improvements based on client feedback and industry best practices.

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families coping with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships. • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the state of Maryland as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and support clients from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with clients and professional teams.
• A commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive care.

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems to streamline documentation and client management.
• Proven experience delivering therapeutic services to a range of populations, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness.

For this full-time position, the salary range is competitive, offering between USD 115,000 and USD 130,000 annually.
