Job description

The Role
FinStrat Management ("FSM") is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a client-facing Director of Human Resources. In this role will be responsible for providing guidance and comprehensive HR support for our clients as we expand our service offerings.
This is a full-time, remote role.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the HR functions for our clients; review and monitor all policies, processes, systems, and other initiatives
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, performance management, employee relations, and dispute resolutions
  • Align HR initiatives and people strategy with business needs, including supporting employee and leadership development, and developing succession plans for key positions and/or critical roles within the organization
  • Build relationships as a trusted HR advisor to key client stakeholders, participating in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making
  • Proactively identify trends and propose actions, related to employee engagement and developing a positive and strong organizational culture
  • Develop new HR policies, and/or review existing policies, tools, and processes to stay dynamic and agile to meet changing business conditions, work environments, and evolving needs and priorities
  • Leverage technology and HRIS to streamline workflow and increase productivity
Job Requirements
  • BA degree, preferably in Human Resources or a business-related field
  • Proven track record with at least 7 years of experience in managing a diverse HR team
  • Enthusiastic in acquiring new knowledge, opportunities, and experiences
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices, with a deep understanding of benefits administration
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and nimble environment, adept at adapting to changing dynamics

Bonus points
  • HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred
  • Experience supporting a public accounting or professional services firm preferred
  • Multi-state and/or site support experience preferred
