Although you will be working from home, you will remain connected and engaged with our outpatient office team through regular meetings, supervision sessions, and teletherapy appointments. Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Licensed Professional Counselor will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of each patient's biopsychosocial needs to identify issues and inform treatment planning.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at symptom resolution and improved patient functioning.
• Providing evidence-based individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy as clinically warranted, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Acting as a primary therapist or co-therapist in various therapeutic groups, leading sessions for psychiatric patients using effective communication and intervention strategies.
• Collaborating with psychiatry and healthcare team members to ensure cohesive program planning, triage evaluations, and crisis intervention support.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to program and regulatory standards through the use of electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Upholding ethical and legal standards associated with professional counseling, as well as Metrapolis’ policies and procedures.

The clients you will serve at Metrapolis Behavioral Center may present with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. Our diverse patient population requires LPCs who are adaptable and skilled in tailoring their approach to meet individual needs. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon or licensure eligibility.
• At least two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to establish rapport with a diverse client base.
• Documented ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technology.

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desired:

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care.
• Experience working in a primary care or medical settings is a plus.

The salary for this Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
