Remote Speech-Language Pathologist — Charleston, IL

Location: Charleston, Illinois — Remote

Position Type: Full-Time | K–12

About the Role

This virtual Speech-Language Pathologist position provides school-based speech and language services to K–12 students across Illinois. The role focuses on evaluations, direct therapy, and collaborative participation in IEP processes while supporting students through a structured remote service delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver virtual speech-language therapy aligned with student IEP goals
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and service plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring records
  • Take part in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement preferred or required based on district needs
  • ASHA CCC-SLP (preferred)
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Telepractice or virtual service delivery experience preferred
  • Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
