• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand clients' substance abuse history, co-occurring mental health issues, and overall treatment needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing proven methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide families with necessary education and resources to promote their involvement in the recovery process.

This role specifically focuses on individuals confronting substance abuse disorders, often intertwined with mental health challenges. • A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience in addiction counseling with a solid understanding of substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Knowledge of best practices for addressing co-occurring disorders is critical, along with a background in evidence-based therapeutic strategies.
• Exceptional relational and counseling skills that allow for the development of strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team.

• At least two years of experience in a relevant therapeutic setting, particularly in addiction treatment.
• Experience working with telehealth platforms and online treatment protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with the latest research and developments in substance abuse treatment and behavioral therapies.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
