• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions using video conferencing technology, maintaining ethical and compassionate care.
• Employ solution-focused treatment modalities to develop personalized approaches for each client's treatment.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental health needs of clients.
• Facilitate client insights into their experiences, feelings, and significant relationships.
• Regularly monitor clients' progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure they develop healthy coping mechanisms.
• Utilize minimal paperwork to maintain clinical documentation efficiently, allowing more time for client interaction.

This role specifically focuses on providing support to stable and low-acuity adults with a wide variety of mental health needs. Clients may include those experiencing mild depression, anxiety, or adjustment disorders, particularly within the hospice context where emotional and psychological support is essential. Your expertise will be vital in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges, enhancing their overall quality of life during a crucial time.

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license that allows for independent practice, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates with disciplinary actions will not be considered.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor that fosters trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, with access to a computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities for video sessions.
• A reliable internet connection to facilitate seamless communication with clients.

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required. Experience working with hospice patients or those dealing with grief and loss is highly preferred, as it demonstrates an understanding of the unique challenges faced by this population.
