In this role, you will leverage your expertise to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, helping clients navigate their emotional challenges and encouraging them toward healthier lifestyles.

About the Organization

Located in Homestead, Florida, Wellpower Outpatient Behavioral Health Center is a leading provider of mental health services in the region. We are committed to delivering compassionate care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to our diverse client population. As a remote position, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while being part of a dynamic and supportive outpatient team. Our facility utilizes innovative telehealth technologies to ensure that every therapist has the tools necessary to effectively engage with clients. You will participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision sessions through digital platforms to maintain a cohesive connection with your colleagues and uphold the high standards of care we are known for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse range of mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions for clients dealing with issues such as grief and loss, trauma, relationship conflicts, and adjustment disorders.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and ensure measurable progress toward treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify barriers to emotional well-being and empower them with coping strategies.
  • Refer clients to other professionals or specialists as needed to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document client progress and therapeutic interventions in an electronic health record system.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, trainings, and peer supervision.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a wide range of patients, including individuals grappling with addiction, anxiety, family conflict, adjustment disorders, and those navigating separation or divorce. You will also support blended families and assist them in overcoming challenges unique to their circumstances. Your compassion and skills will directly impact the quality of life and mental wellness of your clients.

Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of Florida.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to foster a trusting relationship with clients.
  • Proficiency in using technology for telehealth sessions and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in an outpatient setting providing therapy to individuals and families.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in family and marriage therapy.
  • Knowledge in dealing with blended family dynamics and post-divorce adjustment issues.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

  • A robust healthcare plan, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching to help you save for the future.
  • Paid time off, holiday pay, and a comprehensive annual bonus plan.
  • Quarterly productivity bonuses and a new hire sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
  • Pay on demand options and mileage reimbursement to ensure your financial needs are addressed.
