• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, ensuring personalized care plans that align with their goals.
• Offer individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to address issues such as substance use, mental health challenges, and trauma recovery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans that promote client empowerment and facilitate successful outcomes in detox settings.
• Actively advocate for clients’ rights and access to essential resources, emphasizing social justice and equity within the community.
• Engage in program development and evaluation, contributing valuable insights to grant reporting processes that help secure ongoing funding and support.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance the services provided to clients, ensuring a comprehensive network of support.
• Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach initiatives to promote our services and the community’s mental health needs.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other social challenges that require intensive support. Your efforts will focus on guiding clients through their detox journeys, ensuring they receive the necessary emotional and resource-based support to improve their chances of long-term recovery. By addressing these critical needs, you will play an essential role in helping clients reclaim their lives and foster a stronger sense of community well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required for this position.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of social justice principles, advocacy techniques, and trauma-informed care practices is necessary to provide effective support.
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills are emphasized to navigate complex client needs and provide compassionate care.

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization or a similar community-focused setting is highly preferred, especially in detox or mental health environments.
