About the Organization

At Impireum Psychiatric Counseling Center, our mission is founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to superior mental health care. We utilize a range of digital tools to streamline documentation and communication, ensuring our therapists can focus on what they do best: helping clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs.
  • Provide individualized and family therapy sessions based on detailed assessments and ongoing evaluations.
  • Complete accurate billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within required timelines.
  • Develop personalized crisis plans and wellness strategies that support our clients in maintaining stable functioning and preventing relapse.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans that summarize therapy outcomes and future steps for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all current federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies of Impireum.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and educational opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.
  • Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve care delivery.
  • Complete all licensure and mandatory training as required for your role.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population seeking mental health support, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Our approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients, recognizing the importance of cultural awareness and inclusivity in therapy. As a therapist, you will use your expertise to empower clients, promote resilience, and foster positive behavioral change.

Qualifications
  • Education: A Masterโ€™s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, which leads to licensure.
  • Licensure: You are a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, specifically holding one of the following credentials: LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW-C, in the state of Maryland.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient counseling setting.
  • Demonstrated skills in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience with crisis intervention strategies and working with a variety of mental health conditions.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, dependent on licensure and experience. Our benefits package is designed to support your professional and personal well-being, including:

  • Health and dental insurance to promote your health and wellness.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) to ensure a work-life balance.
  • Flexible scheduling options for both full-time and part-time roles.
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance, along with life insurance coverage.
