This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility that suits both the counselor and the patients they serve. As part of a telehealth team, counselors will utilize various digital communication tools to conduct sessions, access patient information securely, and document patient interactions. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines as outlined by the American Counseling Association (ACA) and other professional organizations.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify clients' mental health conditions and needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapies.
• Provide supportive counseling to patients and their families, helping them navigate the emotional challenges associated with cancer treatment and survivorship.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including oncologists, nurses, social workers, and nutritionists, to create cohesive care strategies tailored to the patient’s holistic needs.
• Facilitate support groups and educational workshops that empower clients and caregivers with coping strategies and resources relevant to their experience.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and conferences to remain updated on best practices in mental health care and oncology.

The primary client base includes cancer patients at different stages of their journey, ranging from those newly diagnosed to those in survivorship or end-of-life care. The counselor will also provide support to family members and caregivers, recognizing their vital role in the patient’s mental health and recovery process. The goal is to foster resilience and assist clients in overcoming the psychosocial challenges that accompany a cancer diagnosis.

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Possession of a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Proven track record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third-party service.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathetic listening and building rapport with patients.

• Experience working in oncology or similar fields, with an understanding of the specific mental health challenges faced by cancer patients.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
