  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring a focus on addressing their mental health needs and supporting their integration into recovery.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy, to address a broad spectrum of mental health issues.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to encourage personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping strategies.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide comprehensive care and coordinate interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals for higher levels of care.
  • Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, helping them understand mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment strategies, and progress notes, adhering to the highest legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and continuous learning activities to refine skills and enhance the team's collective knowledge base.
  • Stay informed of current regulations, ethical guidelines, and advancements in mental health practices relevant to the detoxification process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients in the detox center, who often face complex mental health challenges compounded by substance use issues. You will be working with a diverse population, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. Your role is crucial in not only addressing their immediate mental health needs during detox but also equipping them with the tools necessary for long-term recovery and mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Nevada.
  • Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, ideally in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.
  • A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Proficient in conducting mental health assessments, making diagnoses, and formulating effective treatment plans.
  • Experience delivering therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in high-stress situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base.
  • Sound judgment, decision-making abilities, professionalism, and ethical integrity.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong command of computer skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a detox or rehabilitation setting.
  • Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices.
  • Additional certifications in therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or Art Therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, youโ€™ll benefit from a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; a retirement plan with employer-matching contributions; generous paid time off (PTO); and professional liability insurance.
