Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective coping strategies.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to promote integrated care for clients.
• Stay current with research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to continuously enhance clinical approaches.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
