• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of patients, allowing for the formulation of effective and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling, ensuring timely crisis intervention services for patients facing a variety of challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focusing on important topics such as stress management, self-care, and personal development, fostering healing in both individual and community settings.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals, including medical personnel and nutritionists, to coordinate comprehensive, seamless patient care.
• Participate in outreach initiatives and community engagement events aimed at raising mental health awareness, promoting wellness, and providing education to the public.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, reflecting ongoing assessments and treatment progress.

As a counselor at Well Bond Counseling, you will work primarily with a varied patient population, including individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups dealing with a range of mental health issues. Our patients may have experienced traumatic events, struggle with chronic stress, or seek help to navigate everyday challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals through empathetic listening, evidence-based interventions, and personalized treatment plans.

• A valid state license is required, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Your educational background should include at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.
• Proven understanding of mental health challenges affecting diverse populations and experience in applying appropriate therapeutic methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and collaboration with a diverse medical team.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices, brief therapy modalities, and community resources pertinent to a clinical setting.
• A strong ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role is required, with experience in a community health setting preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and competency in telehealth practices is an advantage.
