This role primarily focuses on university students, a population characterized by unique developmental challenges and stressors. As a counselor, you'll address concerns that may arise from academic pressure, social adjustment, and personal issues typical of young adults in higher education. Understanding the distinctive mental health landscape of college life will allow you to provide relevant and effective support.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or psychologist.
• A master’s degree or doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of the mental health issues faced by college students, including cultural and contextual factors that inform their experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster secure connections with students and effectively collaborate across a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic methodologies suited for a university counseling environment.
