• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients' needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to support individuals, couples, and families in achieving their therapy goals.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions that help clients build community and gain knowledge about their mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide well-rounded patient care, ensuring that treatment approaches align with each patient’s unique context.
• Offer crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute distress, ensuring that you provide immediate support and develop safety plans as necessary.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and resources available in the community.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards for record keeping.
• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and actively contribute to professional development initiatives.
• Remain informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele that reflects the rich tapestry of the Rochester community. • Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as an LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, or LCSW-R is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches tailored to treating these concerns.
• Experience with conducting mental health assessments and evidence-based treatment planning.
• Familiarity with providing therapy to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• Strong professional ethics and the ability to maintain boundaries while delivering compassionate care.
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

• Previous experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly in outpatient services.
• Specific training or certification in therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or motivational interviewing.
• Experience working with marginalized populations or in community health settings is a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
