Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges, facilitating the development of their individual therapy plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to address a variety of mental health disorders, guiding patients toward improved emotional and psychological stability.
  • Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, educators, and other social service professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  • Assist students and their families in comprehending diagnoses, treatment implications, and medication management pathways, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities that resonate with diverse patient experiences.
  • Participate in developing treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, ensuring that interventions are aligned with patient goals and family preferences.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
