Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
The Landscape Architecture Program is accepting applications for Part-Time Instructors. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach landscape architecture courses delivered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design. The maximum teaching load varies from 1-2 courses per semester. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching face-to-face landscape architecture courses, participating in data collection and assessment of student learning, and submitting teaching materials as part of semester review.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Landscape Architecture Program supports over 55 undergraduate majors along with students from other majors taking landscape architecture courses as electives.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline with at least one professional degree in landscape architecture at the time of application.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Candidates with 1-3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.
