As a telehealth facility, our work is conducted remotely, embracing the flexibility and convenience of modern technology. This role will have you engaging with clients through video conferencing platforms, allowing you to build rapport and provide therapy from the comfort of your own home. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive assessments, ensuring that each patient’s unique experiences and backgrounds are understood and integrated into their treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), addressing various mental health disorders.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience among patients.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and external community resources to ensure comprehensive care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, helping them navigate immediate concerns with expertise and empathy.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case conferences, contributing insights and discussing best practices for culturally competent care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in mental health therapies, enhancing your practice and ensuring quality care.

In this role, you will work primarily with a multicultural patient population that includes individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, those identifying as LGBTQ+, and immigrants. This requires a deep understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to provide care that respects and addresses the specific challenges faced by these communities. Your work will be integral in helping patients overcome barriers to mental health support and fostering a welcoming environment that enhances engagement and trust.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required for this position.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona is mandatory.
• A profound understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and the significance of cultural competence in therapy.
• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy utilizing culturally responsive approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention abilities, remaining calm and effective in high-pressure situations where immediate support is critical.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth platforms.
• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries in all interactions.
• Collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working within telehealth systems, ensuring smooth virtual engagement with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate cultural considerations into mental health assessments and treatment plans.
• Experience with specific evidence-based practices applicable to the clients you will serve, enhancing the effectiveness of your interventions.
