• Conduct evaluations and assessments with clients to accurately determine their mental health status and needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual clients’ needs, focusing on therapeutic goals that foster healing.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, offering counseling techniques and tools that enable clients to navigate challenges.
• Maintain thorough documentation of each client's progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing referrals to psychiatrists or other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, employing strong problem-solving skills to support clients in acute distress.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance treatment efficacy.

You will work closely with a diverse client population facing an array of issues, including substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from various cultural backgrounds will be crucial in delivering culturally competent and responsive care, customizing therapeutic approaches according to each client’s unique circumstances.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
• A minimum of four years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field, demonstrating a substantial commitment to helping clients achieve their mental health goals.
• Thorough understanding of a wide range of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to deliver therapeutic interventions in individual and group settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster rapport and trust with clients, aiding in their therapeutic journey.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and technological applications is essential for maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

• Experience working with diverse populations, emphasizing cultural competence in therapeutic settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention and management strategies.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based approaches.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
