Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' unique mental health needs, and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care tailored to each client's needs.
  • Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing immediate support and intervention using your clinical expertise to stabilize their situation.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma around seeking help.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health therapist at Carter Mental and Behavioral Healthcare, you will work with a broad client population, encompassing individuals from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity, allowing effective work within a diverse client population.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, essential for maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy to a varied clientele while utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Prior involvement in community outreach or educational programs related to mental health.
  • Experience with integrated care models and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits
