Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using telehealth platforms to provide convenient and accessible care.
  • Assess patients' mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations, engaging them in discussions to formulate personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, documenting progress and therapeutic sessions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, discussing treatment plans and progress during case consults.
  • Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to appointment schedules, deadlines, and the ethical standards of the mental health profession.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be diverse populations seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Working with various demographicsโ€”including children, adolescents, and adultsโ€”you will adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to manage client interactions and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ideally with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral processes within the Harrisburg area.
  • Previous experience working in a remote healthcare setting is a plus.
