Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct personalized assessments to gain an understanding of client needs, developing tailored therapeutic strategies that promote mental wellness and resilience.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions designed to foster community and shared healing among peers facing similar challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and tracking progress.
  • Engage in regular professional development through workshops and training sessions, ensuring that your skills remain current with the latest findings in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on supporting children and adolescents in school settings, as well as their families. You will address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. Your role will be instrumental in advocating for students' mental health needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate support to succeed both academically and emotionally.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
  • Demonstrated expertise in counseling, with at least two years of experience preferably within a clinical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic models and approaches, as well as a commitment to ethical and legal standards within the field.

Compensation and Benefits
