Position Overview

Mind Teletherapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative mental health team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive mental health support, facilitating therapeutic interventions, and helping clients navigate their mental well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals through personalized care and evidence-based counseling strategies.

About the Organization

At Mind Teletherapy Counseling Center, we believe in a holistic approach where mental and physical healthcare are seamlessly integrated to foster total well-being. Our mission centers on making high-quality, accessible, and affordable mental healthcare available to everyone, everywhere, every day. We empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives through our dedicated team of licensed mental health professionals.

Work Environment

This position is designed for a remote work setting, offering significant flexibility to accommodate varying schedules. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients via teletherapy methods, utilizing advanced digital platforms to ensure effective communication and care delivery. Our outpatient office serves as a hub for collaboration among team members, and while remote, we prioritize connectivity and continuous support for our counselors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Maintain an ongoing assessment of client progress, adapting therapeutic approaches as necessary to address evolving needs.
  • Facilitate open communication with multidisciplinary teams, including supervisors and peers, to discuss client development and care strategies.
  • Schedule and conduct regular home visits or sessions as necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on best practices for client treatment.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain comprehensive records through our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring all information is current and accessible.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for team members to promote adherence to program plans and documentation standards.
  • Conduct follow-up evaluations and observations post-intervention to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and youth, contributing to a wide array of therapeutic scenarios such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma recovery, and substance misuse support. Your role will be critical in providing empathetic support and fostering a safe environment for all clients to discuss their mental health challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • Possession of active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is required.
  • Valid clinical expertise in areas such as family dynamics, couples therapy, trauma, or substance abuse is highly preferred.
  • A strong grasp of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficient in the use of EMR software and other relevant technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Experience in telehealth practices and digital therapeutic tools.
  • Background in community mental health settings or non-profit organizations.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
  • Flexible work schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage and life insurance benefits.
  • Sign-on bonus available to selected candidates.
