Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ familial dynamics, identifying points of tension and areas needing therapeutic intervention.
• Collaboratively develop and implement tailored treatment plans that encompass both individual and familial therapy approaches.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based techniques to address interpersonal conflicts, grief, and mental health disorders.
• Consistently evaluate client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring alignment with each client’s unique circumstances.
• Document clinical findings and treatment results effectively, preparing reports that may serve as expert testimony in legal contexts when required.
• Stay informed about local resources and support services to provide clients with comprehensive care and referrals when appropriate.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the overall therapeutic experience for clients and ensure a cohesive treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals and families from various cultural backgrounds facing a range of challenges. Your role is pivotal in addressing issues such as marital discord, mental health disorders, trauma, relationship dynamics, and grief. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will help clients navigate their concerns and build healthier family structures.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A current and valid LMFT license in the state of Texas, adhering to all state licensing regulations.
• A minimum of one year of supervised clinical experience, including hands-on practice in a therapeutic setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in individual, couple, and family therapy techniques grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Strong assessment skills, capable of identifying and diagnosing a variety of mental health and relational issues effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health setting is a plus, allowing for understanding the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits
