Our outpatient office operates within a flexible and supportive remote work setting. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand patients’ unique situations and formulate personalized treatment strategies.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, applying modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to support clients effectively.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups addressing common mental health challenges, creating a nurturing community for participants.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of psychiatrists and psychologists to implement coordinated care approaches, streamlining patient services.
• Provide crisis intervention services and robust support during mental health emergencies, showcasing expertise and sound judgment in high-stress situations.
• Educate patients on understanding their mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources that can enhance their recovery journey.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

This role involves working with a diverse patient demographic in the Aurora, Illinois region. You will encounter individuals from various backgrounds facing mental health challenges including, but not limited to, general anxiety, depression-related issues, and substance abuse problems. The emphasis on outpatient care allows you to build therapeutic relationships over time, ensuring that treatment is tailored to the evolving needs of each client.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough mental health evaluations and create effective treatment plans.
• Experience in providing therapy to a diverse range of clients, with sensitivity to cultural differences.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a trusting environment for clients.
• Strong ethical framework and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, fostering collaboration.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred, enhancing the depth of therapeutic knowledge.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery is advantageous in ensuring seamless client engagement.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
