As a licensed mental health counselor at Willow Counseling Center, you will work in a remote setting that leverages cutting-edge telehealth technology, allowing you to provide support to clients from the comfort of your home. Regular work hours typically fall between Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with adjustments possible to meet the needs of our patients.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs and formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups to foster community and connection among clients addressing similar mental health challenges.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health issues, demonstrating a strong ability to de-escalate situations and offer immediate support.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, self-care techniques, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems for all client interactions.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development activities to refine your clinical skills and stay updated with evidence-based practices.

The counseling services provided by our therapists at Willow Counseling Center primarily target adults experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. We see clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups, and our approach is tailored to meet the unique cultural and personal experiences of each individual.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Applicants must possess a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and proven experience with evidence-based treatment methodologies are essential.
