Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored specifically to the needs of each client.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate patient care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall outcomes.
  • Engage in regular clinical meetings and case consultations, contributing to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources effectively and compassionately.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health by participating in training and applying this knowledge to improve clinical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will predominantly involve engaging with a diverse population in the Covington area, encompassing a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, utilizing culturally competent and client-centered approaches to ensure effective and respectful interactions.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Michigan.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in settings focused on psychotherapy.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and solution-focused interventions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits
