Christian Family Care & Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team in Joliet, Illinois. This is a full-time remote role that allows for flexible scheduling. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the unique needs and concerns of each client.
• Develop individualized therapy plans employing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
• Deliver effective therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups in a format that best suits each client's needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance your skills and stay updated on the latest research in mental health.

Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds and experience a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. Your role as an LCPC will be critical in bridging gaps for those with limited access to quality mental health care, reflecting our commitment to community service.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various clientele.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software as well as telehealth technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele to support varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve optimal client outcomes.

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
