As a Mental Health Therapist at El Gloria Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and formulate personalized treatment strategies.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating resilience-building techniques.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's needs.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma experiences and equipping them with effective coping skills.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care and enhance patient outcomes.
• Providing crisis intervention support during time-sensitive trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower their healing journey.
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to uphold a high standard of trauma-informed care.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance your therapeutic skill set.

While not mandatory, preferred experience includes:
