Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a large-scale network integration initiative, migrating individual practices and medical offices onto an enterprise network. This is high-volume, repeatable small-site work spanning many locations, covering site-by-site connectivity, firewall and SD-WAN deployment, wired/wireless refresh, IP rationalization, and decommissioning of legacy circuits. This is not a data center role - it is focused on branch and clinical site engineering at scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute site-by-site network onboarding across a large number of small clinical and office locations
  • Deploy and configure Palo Alto firewalls (branch deployment, policy migration, Panorama-managed at scale)
  • Onboard branch sites onto SD-WAN with templated configurations and circuit migration/failover testing
  • Deploy and manage Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure (CX switching, APs, ClearPass)
  • Implement IP address remediation and NAT strategies across overlapping address spaces
  • Manage DNS/DHCP/IPAM environments (Infoblox or equivalent)
  • Build and execute repeatable cutover models with standard templates, runbooks, rollback, and validation
  • Schedule and coordinate cutovers around clinical operating hours to minimize patient-care disruption
Required Skills
  • 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
  • Multi-site rollout or M&A integration across 50+ locations
  • Palo Alto Networks firewalls - branch deployment, policy migration, Panorama management
  • Palo Alto SD-WAN - branch onboarding, templated configuration, failover testing
  • Aruba wired and wireless (CX switching, APs, ClearPass)
  • Branch routing: BGP, OSPF as applied to SD-WAN overlay and ISP handoff
  • IP address overlap remediation and NAT strategy
  • DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infoblox or equivalent)
  • Proven repeatable cutover methodology with little or no on-site IT presence
Preferred Skills
  • Healthcare or physician-practice network experience
  • Medical device and imaging network requirements
