Job SummaryIn addition to performing the functions and responsibilities of the specific 145 Repair Station Technician job description at an exceptional level; the Senior Technician will act as a subject matter expert for their maintenance discipline, accepting additional responsibilities as listed below and provide training and mentoring to shop personnel.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Perform all core duties of applicable technician requirements at an exceptional level Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments to provide support for field maintenance needs Provide communications to Engineering Department for specialized shop needs Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments to provide support for field maintenance needs Report Maintenance Leads and Supervisors on project constraints and progress updates Mentor new employees in understanding shop procedures to increase their efficiency and productivity Responsible for monitoring, controlling and ordering of material usage in the designated shop.
