About the Role

Simpson Race Products, a leader in racing and motorsports safety products, has an immediate opening for a Product Management Coordinator supporting our full portfolio of safety and racing brands. This role requires the candidate to be organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As a Product Management Coordinator, you will serve as the central hub for cross-brand product coordination across Simpson, Stilo, and RaceQuip, along with other Powersports-related products. You will play a critical role in ensuring product data accuracy, supporting new product development (NPD) gate tracking, managing timelines, and enabling seamless collaboration between product managers, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about motorsports and eager to grow within product management at one of the industry’s most respected brand families.

Our Brands

Simpson Powersports – An iconic name in motorcycle helmets, Simpson has been protecting racers and riders for decades with helmets and safety accessories trusted at every level of riding.

Stilo – Founded in Italy and rooted in motorsports engineering, Stilo is renowned for precision-engineered wired and wireless communication systems, seamlessly integrated with racing helmets and safety equipment across Formula racing, GT, rally, endurance, off-road, and grassroots motorsports.

RaceQuip – A go-to brand for grassroots and entry-level racers, RaceQuip delivers quality safety gear—helmets, suits, gloves, harnesses, and accessories—at accessible price points without compromising on protection.

HANS – The original Head and Neck Support device that revolutionized racing safety, HANS products are mandated by virtually every major sanctioning body worldwide and remain the gold standard in head and neck restraint technology.

Key ResponsibilitiesCross-Brand Product Coordination
  • Serve as the central coordination point across Simpson, Stilo, RaceQuip, and other related product lines, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
  • Support Product Managers with day-to-day coordination tasks, facilitating communication between cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Help maintain consistency in product management processes and documentation across all four brands.
SKU & Product Data Management
  • Own the accuracy and completeness of SKU data across all brands, ensuring product information is current and reliable in internal systems (ERP/PIM/PLM).
  • Coordinate new SKU creation, updates, and discontinuations, working with operations and IT teams to maintain clean data.
  • Develop and maintain product data standards and templates to ensure consistency across the brand portfolio.
New Product Development (NPD) Gate Tracking
  • Track and manage the NPD stage-gate process across all brands, ensuring projects move through development milestones on schedule.
  • Maintain NPD dashboards and trackers, providing visibility to leadership on project status, risks, and resource needs.
  • Coordinate gate review meetings, prepare materials, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Flag delays or bottlenecks early and work with stakeholders to develop corrective action plans.
Timeline & Project Management
  • Develop and maintain product launch timelines and project schedules across all brands, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Track deliverables across teams and hold stakeholders accountable for commitments.
  • Support inventory management strategies by coordinating product lifecycle transitions, including introductions and end-of-life planning.
Market Analysis & Competitor Insights Support
  • Assist Product Managers with market research, competitor analysis, and pricing analysis across all four brands.
  • Compile and organize competitive intelligence to support informed product strategy and positioning decisions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product lines across the brand portfolio.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Contribute to post-mortem analyses after product launches to capture lessons learned and improve future processes.
Stakeholder Communication & Events
  • Aid in communicating product strategies, roadmap updates, and progress to internal stakeholders.
  • This position may attend trade shows, races, and industry events as needed to support brand representation and gather market insights.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in product management, project coordination, data management, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data management with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with stage-gate or similar new product development processes is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP, PIM, PLM, or product data management systems preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with exposure to defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, self-starter personality with eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com) is a plus.
  • Passion for motorsports, racing, or automotive performance is strongly preferred.
