The Opportunity

The Senior Analyst, Operations Analytics is a cross-functional internal consultant to the business that will work across several business units, with a primary internal customer group, but will also support other functions, as needed. This role is responsible for completing a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to help inform company strategy and run the business more efficiently and effectively. This position will work primarily in support of our Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics, as well as other enabling functions across the business.

What'll You'll Work On

  • Build and maintain analysis, models, or dashboards to support process optimization, forecasting, capacity planning, economic optimization, and performance management processes.
  • Analyze company data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Support fact-based decision-making and measurement of operational effectiveness (i.e., new process operating as designed) and/or economics (i.e., ROI) of company initiatives.
  • Evaluate the economic and/or operational impact of new products and/or strategies. Effectively compile and communicate findings to leadership or stakeholders verbally, visually, and in writing.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed.
  • Support multiple business units and supporting functions in making key strategic decisions. Liaise cross-functionally beyond primary internal customer group; including, but not limited to, finance, HR, business development, sales, marketing, IT, and R&D.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, business intuition, and ability to build consensus across functions.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate in a matrixed cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
  • Be adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and effectively respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 100% of a typical working day.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or related field or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience.
  • 3+ years of direct business analytics experience.
  • Proficient in any visualization tool (preferably Tableau), Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position, with or without accommodation.
  • Experience with computer programming in R, SAS, Python, SQL, or another language.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with laboratory, healthcare, or medical device industries.
  • Working understanding of database design and data modeling.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control.
  • Experience with simulation software such as Simul8, Arena, Simio, AnyLogic, etc.

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
