Job description

Our client is hiring for a full time Project Manager to run execution and provide visibility across every IT project, including development sprints, integrations (Salesforce and similar), and special projects. They are a nationwide job site management company that coordinates construction rentals, equipment, storage, offices, sanitation, fencing, and related services so customers can keep projects moving with confidence. Their technology team runs a proprietary ERP platform with high transaction volume, strict uptime requirements, and real operational dependencies for internal users and external customers and vendors.
This role is built for the AI era, not a status-report treadmill. You’ll partner with a Business Process Lead who owns what the business needs and why, while you own and report on how and when projects get delivered. Most distinctively, you’ll run the readiness smoke test that ensures every requirement meets their standards before design or build. The pipeline is spec-driven and AI-assisted. AI coding agents augment development with human approval and feedback loops, and the discipline you enforce at the front is what makes the agents behind it effective.
Required Skills & Experience
· 4-8 years running software or IT project delivery, ideally in enterprise, ERP, logistics, or operational software
· Ability to hold a quality gate with senior stakeholders, and the judgment to know a real emergency from a loud request
· Fluency with Jira or equivalent (Azure DevOps), sprint planning, and release management
· Sharp written communication that reads clean to engineers, executives, and AI agents
· Change management experience: rollouts, cutovers, and keeping the business informed without drama
Desired Skills & Experience
· Spec-driven development experience
· Curiosity about AI-assisted delivery
What You Will Be Doing
· Write requirements and testable acceptance criteria ("When X, the system shall Y") before any code exists, consulting the Business Process Lead on intent
· Run the readiness smoke test on every requirement: complete, testable, dependencies known, right-sized
· Sequence and plan all IT project work in Jira and Monday: sprints, capacity lanes, and dependencies
· Own intake: a published path for how work gets requested, prioritized, and answered, so nothing reaches developers through side channels
· Build and maintain delivery dashboards reported every sprint: cycle time, escaped defects, release validation time, support interrupts
· Own change management and stakeholder communication: rollouts, cutovers, and retrospectives
The Offer
• Bonus eligible
You will receive the following benefits:
· Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
· Vacation Time
· Stock Options
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
