Job description

Our client, a growing, independent disaster restoration company, is looking for a Project Manager to handle both mitigation and construction work for both commercial and residential disaster restoration projects.

Only candidates with prior restoration experience will be considered.


Position Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of all projects, from initiation to completion. This includes coordinating with clients, teams, and subcontractors, ensuring timelines are met, and managing budgets. The Project Manager will also leverage Proven Jobs software to create new projects, track project progress, maintain client communication, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain Work Authorization/Proposal/Contract.
  • Obtain necessary permits as required for the project.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets using Proven Jobs software.
  • Follow up with new clients by sending a detailed welcome email, introducing yourself, and providing project-specific information via Proven Jobs Notes
  • Utilize Encircle to monitor, analyze, and report on hydro-related data.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent.
  • Schedule walk with sub or team and inspect work.
  • Ensure areas completed match the scope of work.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Schedule sign-off walk with property management.
  • Document all areas completed in an email to the team.
  • Complete all sub trade Work Orders and have them executed.
  • Ensure Certificate of Completion signed by owner representative.
  • Create Final Photo Report of completed work.
  • Oversee and manage multiple mitigation and construction projects simultaneously.
  • Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage change orders, approvals, and additional client requests.
  • Utilize Proven Jobs software to maintain client relationships and streamline project documentation.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and ensure customer satisfaction, send survey emails via Proven Jobs.
  • Ensure the client has paid the full balance.
  • Ensure profit margins were met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience, or 5-7+ years of other construction leadership experience.
  • MUST have prior experience in disaster restoration.
  • Experience with both mitigation and reconstruction work.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications and degrees are a plus (IICRC, WRT, etc.)
